Validator Upgrade Announcement: Pundi AIFX v8.8.0 (Hard Fork)
Dear Validators,
We will be releasing a compulsory upgrade for fxcored to v8.8.0 around tomorrow, 18 July 2025.
This is a HARDFORK, and all validators must upgrade before the specified block height to avoid downtime.
Important:
If the upgrade height is reached and the validator has not upgraded, his node will stop producing blocks and needs to be handled manually

Jail Time: Extended to 5 days for this upgrade

Update on Pundi AIFX Upgrade
We have come up with another solution and will not proceed with upgrading the mainnet.
The previous upgrade has already blocked the attacker’s address.
The purpose of the planned upgrade was to cancel the attacker’s pending cross-chain transaction.
Instead, we now plan to upgrade the cross-chain contract to address this issue.
More details on the cross-chain contract upgrade will be shared soon.
