Most of the good domain names taken. I’ve found these ones all available;

-Dbond.io (lol)
-Stockverse.io available but cost nearly 14k GBP, not dollars.
-Prostock.io
-Primestock.io
-Pernance.io (lol available however)
-perpetualize.io available but too long, can’t be pronounced etc etc
-someone said Dexy, catchy lol
-Metier.io (means trade in French) but cost 21k GBP!
-stockual.io

“Swap” is synonymous to AMMs, such as UniSwap, SushiSwap but NOT an orderbook exchange. There’s major distinction, so yes to NOT using “swap” for fxdex/variable.

Parallelchain or something to do with parallel.

It is also another synonym for mirror / reflect. It is basically something that is the same, side by side which is the stock market but on chain.

I would like to stick with Variable though. The word represents the stock market very well, different factors and variables that takes place is what defines a stock market.

I think that we should to use for everything more than “FX” word that we need to use “FxCore” word.

Fx or Function X are matematics words that makes so confused to find directly something about FxCore Blockchain on Google for example.

Example:

  • FxCoreDex.
  • FxCoreNFT.
  • FxCoreMetaverse.
  • …

Easy and directly.

Not bad actually. That can work. So when saying it, it will sound as prep exchange, without always pronunciation of the X at the end. This would occur when it’s more familiarised.

Darn. I think yes, it can imo. Probably best to avoid or shortlisted for now… Because if we have the opportunity now to avoid any clashes, that might be better long run.

It was a good name imo. I liked it.

TESTING BOUNDARIES HERE:

Why not go for FXINDEX.io or BLOCKINDEX.io/BlocksDaq.io(as way suggested) or just plainly call it ClearingDEX.com (like a clearing house)?

This way it would differentiate it like NASDAQ/FTSE that deals with selected stocks (and not every stock). The different categories in the exchange could be branded. For instance (applying some of the suggestions here):

  1. Spot exchange category could be called StocksX
  2. Perpetual exchange category can be named PerpX
  3. Swaps exchange category may be SwapsX while gold trading perpetual could be something like SixCarat

Additionally, I would like to bring to everyone’s attention the usefulness of the website called brandbucket.com. They own .com domains but no copyright on the names. Good ones are available and you could just go for .io/.fi in most cases and get a suitable/catchy name to replace Variable or just get inspiration from if you want.
