I want to thank you for the (first) airdrop.
At first glance, i scratched the back of my head…what is OPPABOBA, what to do with it etc.
But at second glance i realized it gives me a chance to dive deeper into the whole meme coin area and trading/swapping/paring on MarginX.
This airdrop for me is the perfect opportunity to try things out and study it all.
I would call it a wake-up call for me, as just a hodler, a non trader and meme noob.
In fact i managed to make 60fx out of 20 just by trying out .
It’s not much, but there is more to it than $$ value for me.
I can see the bigger picture in the airdrops stategy.

As for MarginX, we’re considering a feasible strategy to become the memecoin DEX for Cosmos (Function X is built based off CosmosSDK).

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude for the airdrop.
And first of all, for initiatives that attract more and more new people.
It’s cool to see new people becoming interested in our products.
But, as for airdrop.
My personal opinion:
The idea itself is great, but the result:
For holding coins worth several thousand dollars, you get a distribution of less than 1 cent))
This is more likely to turn away newly arrived members who came to us precisely because of the announcement of the drop.
I’m afraid that such marketing may have the opposite effect.…
This being MarginX’s inaugural airdrop, we’re in the process of experimenting with various parameters and refining the criteria for each drop. Our aim is to raise awareness beyond the FX community while ensuring that genuine supporters are rewarded, rather than targeting airdrop or bounty hunters.
We have two campaigns lined up: Airdrops and a Points System. Details of the points system, designed for real users engaging in MarginX trading, will be disclosed at a later date.
For those who might have missed the essence of airdrop campaigns, they serve as a marketing tool, generating social media attention and fostering a network effect. We’ll be continuously refining our approach as we progress.
In the realm of reviews, negative feedback can lend credibility to positive reviews; after all, no business is flawless. Despite our best efforts, it’s impossible to please everyone. Therefore, we prioritize actions that align with our long-term vision.

Despite this, we endeavor to conduct airdrops to as many holders (wallet addresses) as possible, continually experimenting with various strategies. Additionally, we offer advice to projects on the optimal methods for airdropping to enhance awareness about their project.
While recipients have the freedom to choose whether to sell, hold, or purchase more tokens, the primary objective of raising awareness about these projects has been achieved. Furthermore, an increase in the number of addresses holding these tokens serves as a positive use case.
As you may already be aware, meme coins represent a cultural phenomenon that has the potential to expand further with community support, fostering a network effect, as exemplified by your efforts in spreading the word about the airdrops. While airdrops may not necessarily lead to substantial profits, every recipient receives tokens for free, without incurring any additional costs. However, it may not be a viable option for those solely focused on airdrop hunting and farming.

And the question remains: why would they do this?
If in the end they cannot cover even half of the funds spent on commissions.
