FX x ZooGames [UPDATED]

Hi Indra,

Yes, the liquidity will be locked for at least 12 months. We’re going to farm a portion of the FX rewards, which will be directly deposited into the in-game NFT minting contract (so that minting is free for developers).
Once the 12 months have passed (assuming that the rewards pay enough FX for infinite gas :innocent: ) and depending on the available liquidity, either the liquidity token will be burned, or it will be withdrawn to be redistributed in an Community Airdrop.

The grant for Milestone III will be distributed after Milestone II, likely 2 months later. The $10k in FX will be entirely returned to the LPs. We’re going to use these farming rewards to attract users from our community to FXcore.

We’re also going to use vZOO as a reward/incentive to compensate creators and players (of the BETA version). I don’t have a figure in vZOO because it will depend on our means on the day of the release. But the vZOO incentives on our side are not counted in the EGF.

For Milestone III, we’re going to airdrop 500 NFTs on FX that will need to be claimed in the game. For Milestone IV, there will be incentives in vZOO, and we’ll airdrop an in-game chip so that players can have exclusive bonuses at the release.

Thank you Indra for your concerns

This means that the game will be different than kawaii chaos, correct? Will there still be a “proof of concept” mini game?

It seems its well thought out. Looking forward to minting on fxgora though. I need somewhere to spend my fx

Yes, the game won’t be Kawaii Chaos, as FPS games require a larger budget. Instead, we’ll be deploying a proof of concept, but not a full demo game.

Hmm, so since it is not Kawaii Chaos, this would mean all the pictures above is not available in the upcoming proposal, right?

May I know what kind of game will you guys be deploying with this updated proposal?

What will be available in the Proof of Concept and how far are we able to play the game?

  • For example; playing FPS beta with just 1 map?
  • Curious to see what will be available in the PoC since this is not Kawaii Chaos anymore.

Will the game be exclusive to FXCore at the start?

Asking this because if it’s via a third-party app, this means any EVM chain can play the game without coming to FXCore. Without exclusivity, users may use other popular EVM chains to play the game.

I think having an exclusive game at the start will accelerate FXCore’s adoption more efficiently as players who want to play → will have to play it on FXCore.

Personally, exclusivity to me, is very important, at least from the start and also because this is using FXCore’s grant, I think it is a legitimate preliminary condition or request.

Kawaii Chaos wasn’t the Proof of Concept (PoC), but another 3D WebGL game was (we started building it especially for FX). However, given the reduced budget, we prefer to save time and resources to directly build the final game.
The PoC will be a Telegram game where users can directly mint a PoC NFT to FX and tradable on FXGora.

Once the proposal gets the green light, we’ll start a new thread and invite all community members to join a discussion about the new game we’re planning to build on FX. We’ll take about 2-3 weeks to draft the game rules and validate each game function point by point with the community.

I’m personally a big fan of games like Among Us, Fall Guys, Moving Out, etc. These games aren’t too complex to develop and can be really fun to play.

By the way, we’re in talks with other developers who are interested in building another games using the FX in-game NFT minting mechanic. So, we can expect more games to join the FX ecosystem.

Interesting, a Telegram game to mint NFTs.

So correct me if I am wrong, the current proposals is a stepping stone towards the actual game, correct?

The current proposals would be:

  1. To setup the NFT Marketplace first
  2. Launch a new liquidity pair ZOO/FX
  3. Telegram game to kickstart the PoC NFT

Is this correct?

I would assume that the current proposal will not have a FPS game, correct? Just inquiring to be sure.

P.S I totally understand that a full FPS game require a larger budget.

Oh nice, so this PoC game video will be playable on PC?

  • The Telegram PoC is to mint NFTs, right? Not to play the game on Telegram.
  1. First, we’ll set up the NFT Marketplace FXgora
  2. Next, we’ll launch a new liquidity pair, vZOO/FX.
  3. Then, we’ll launch the beta version of the new game.
  4. Then, we’ll launch the final version of the new game.

The Telegram mini-game will be launched before the beta version. It’s not included in the EGF proposal because it will only be used for testing our Crosschain message service to FunctionX. The demo will be public.
In fact, we already have two games running on Telegram using the ZooGames Protocol:

  1. ZooQuizAI - A fun and interactive quiz game using ChatGPT4.
  2. Wild Kingdom - A casino game.

We’ll be discussing the genre of the new game with the community. However, a FPS game on mobile is unlikely at this point. That said, once we’ve built more trust, we could consider creating a new EGF proposal to kickstart the development of Kawaii Chaos. Why not

Edit:
In addition, between milestones, we’ll be adding more features such as the crosschain NFTs collection, the vZOO bridge, and an incentive program for creators, among others.

Oh, I understand now.

So the Telegram mini-game demo is not part of the proposal and will be launched BEFORE the beta game to test the cross-chain message to FunctionX.

This means there will still be a beta version of the new game from this current proposal?

  • But the new game has not been published on the forum yet, right?
  • Since Kawaii Chaos is not part of the proposal at the moment.
  1. For the beta game, how playable will it be?
  2. Will you be showing us examples of the new game before submitting the proposal?
  3. What is the new game called?

Because I think the community loved the Kawaii Chaos concept in the initial proposal. But since Kawaii Chaos is out of the picture now, I’m curious to see what game will replace Kawaii Chaos and what type of game it is.

The game that’s gonna take Kawaii Chaos’s spot will be chosen by the community once the proposal gets the green light. We won’t see a satoshi unless we release the game, just like Indra prefers. So, it’s safe for us to take our time and focus on a talk with the community to see what the players really want once the approval is granted.
The new game could be anything but will be exclusively available on Mobile.

Okay so the new game will be on Mobile only and not PC.

The PoC video you showed us above. May I know which game is that for?

That was our proof of concept we proposed with Kawaii Chaos. We decided to kickstart the development to speed up the grant distribution process. But now, we’re gonna steer towards the Telegram game we mentioned before.

We’re making these savings to meet the legit conditions that Indra might have. But fundamentally, the Telegram game will use the same functions.

good to see some more discussion going on. looking forward to hearing what indra thinks, or the rest of the community. maybe we should get some comments" or “discussions” happening in telegram, just to get more users feedback. otherwise it seems like everyone is quite happy.

Hey LKYBOB, thanks for sharing some more ideas to implement into our games. Especially doing cross-game features can be an interesting thing to do. We are already doing some cross-game NFTs with our ZooGenes characters and more similar ideas are possible in future games.

Hello @Genshimaro,

Thank you for updating the proposal. Im also a gamer myself for many years, participated in beta testing for different games including World of Warcraft so I have some questions which are game-focused.

  1. Can you provide more details about what the final full game could be? I’m curious to know the type of game you have in mind. Perhaps you could share an example. I’ve noticed suggestions in other comments that an FPS might be an ideal but with the new proposal you mention that it will be discussed later but i believe its good to set some expectations for the community

  2. Would like to gain a comprehensive understanding of the game’s performance and its potential for growth in the ecosystem. Maybe you can comment based on the other games you have developed so far.

A. Number of Players: An indicator of the game’s initial appeal and potential audience size.

B. User Engagement: Metrics like daily active users, session duration, and retention rate to assess how well players are engaging with the game.

C. Conversion Rates: The percentage of players who move from free to paid content or complete desired actions within the game.

D. Virality Metrics: Referral rates and social sharing numbers to gauge organic growth and player enthusiasm.

E. Market Reach: Data on the game’s performance across different regions and demographics.

F. Content Updates: Plans for future updates, expansions, or additional content to demonstrate the game’s potential for ongoing player engagement.

G. Marketing Efforts: Insights into the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies to attract players. Do you have any streamers who play your games live?

Thank you!
